URGENT PETITION! TIME FOR US TO STAND UP FOR COMMUNITY’S SAFETY AND SECURITY
Dear Resident of St Pancras Way Estate,
The TRA Team organised a community and volunteer-led petition and survey to urge our local authorities to act promptly to provide safer living conditions for our estate. We want to change the following below so that our council tax and service charge should address our needs:
PRIORITY: Improved security gates giving access to residents through a fob and intercom system.
More CCTV installation around the estate.
Better rubbish and recycling bins: to improve health and safety and hygiene to allocate rubbish and recycling, bulk items rooms and cover lids on rubbish bins. No fly-tipping from non-residents.
Improved ground maintenance: regular gardening and replanting of flowers and plants around the whole estate, including annual cleaning of windows and areas around the block lights.
Public gym: for residents to access, similar to Cantelowes.
Develop undercroft of Inwood Court and Soane Court: to be used as storage for residents’ underneath blocks.
Better lighting around the estate specifically in dark areas.
Regular community activities and projects for youth, women, men and family activities.
There are 192 flats, and we need one signature per household to make a difference. The deadline to sign this survey and petition is 7 September 2025.
All details will be treated highly confidentially and will only be used to show Camden Council our petition and survey to make changes we need to live safely and securely.
